Diamond Jacket (Small)

This vintage cropped style 100% cotton denim jacket (size small) has been carefully chosen from a vintage store in Brooklyn. The appliqué designs are leather scrap from Fabscrap, saving it from landfill, done with embroidery machine to stitch down the leather and add decorative stitching.
Direct embroidery is done manually on a hand cranked chainstitch embroidery machine. This embroidery was all done freehand, just by turning the crank in different directions to write the phrase. This phrase is a reminder to keep yourself in the present and to be grateful and happy to be exactly where you are at.
